Since the record needed more swoosh and swirl, we called in Jesper’s brother Robin to get off on ze zyntheeezizerz.
The drummer became the singer. The singer became the drummer. The bass player went over to the dark side. The studio expanded the territory.
Bring in the horns! Gustav Nygren from New Rose came over to the studio and exploded. Don´t think Dark Side of the Moon. Think Peter Brötzmann. Alright? Alright.
Micke Man-Machine used a new weapon of choice – ze acoustic guitar. We also did more vocals. Anders and Micke did some chanting parts and Jesper sounded like a not so healthy alliance between Dave Mustaine and Tom Waits, in a good way though.
